ITALY
SHORT INTODUCTION
Italy is a country located in the south of Europe. It's surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea and consists of a peninsula delimited by the Alps and two islands: Cerdeña and Sicilia. It's capital is Rome. Along history, it has been one of the most important places. During Ancient Age it was the most important empire in the world. It had the control of the Mediterranean Sea for more than one thousand years and it has had a great influence in the present.
Nowadays, it's one of the most visited countries due to it's beautiful architecture, coasts and weather. Right now, there are 59 million inhabitants. The main cities are Rome, Turin, Venice, Florence, Napoli, Milan and Palermo.
